The Cross Country program is led by head coach Scott Larson and competes in the 1B/2B District Nine.

TCP Cross Country Boys win Districts, girls finished 3rd and qualify for State!
The Tri-Cities Prep boys and girls cross country teams ran away big winners at the District 9 Championships at Clarkston, WA on Thursday, Oct 27. The boys team came away as district champions for the third straight year. They placed all seven of their runners in the top ten. The girls team came away as the third place team and became the first TCP girls team to punch their ticket to a State Championship. With the boys and girls district championship accomplishments they will both represent TCP at the State Cross Country Championships at Sun Willows Golf Course, Pasco WA on Saturday Nov 5. This is a local hosted event at a great golf course venue. Please consider coming out to Sun Willows this Saturday and cheer on these Prep student-athletes. Your presence and cheering certainly motivates and encourages the runners to perform their very best. Cross country is spectator friendly sport and you will be amazed at how entertaining it is to watch these Prep athletes run the 3.1 mile course.

The 2010 Boys Cross Country team is the District 9 champions!
District 9 1B/2B
POMEROY — Waitsburg-Prescott’s Seth Deal (16:58) and St. John-Endicott’s Erin Schuster (21:58) took the boys and girls titles at the District 9 1B/2B championships at Pomeroy Golf Course.
The Tri-Cities Prep boys cruised to the team title with just 21 points, placing all seven runners in the top 18 to finish with 40 points ahead of WP, which both qualified for state.
Asotin won the girls’ lone berth, scoring 33 points to easily outdistance St. John-Endicott.
